Peace by Piece began as an exchange program, whereby people sent me samples of soil, rock, water, or other natural materials and I created a grid of Peace that held the connection between all the places and people. It 's purpose was/is to be an anchor for Peace, and it has done just that. In return, people who donated samples received back their own miniature 'world' of samples - something concrete to hold onto in this quickly changing world.
In recent years, it's mission has changed somewhat, and is now an attempt to share the beauty and wonder I see in the world with others to lift their spirits and open their eyes to the hidden world that surrounds us all. The original exchange program continues, however, as samples are added from new places around the world. Please contact me if you would like to participate in some way, whether to donate a sample, or to receive some of what has been offered already. There is great healing in this collection, and it is freely offered to anyone in need.
